BOYLE’S LAW APPARATUS
A simple and economical apparatus designed for the demonstration of Boyle’s Law with a fair degree of approximation. It consists of a graduated plastic syringe mounted on a wooden block, with a lubricated piston attached to a separate wooden platform for holding different weights. When weights are added, the piston compresses the air inside the syringe, increasing the pressure while the corresponding volume can be read directly from the syringe graduations.
